A study model for a low carbon footprint redevelopment of the Javits area, in the Far West Side of Manhattan.
It features a thorough mixture of uses, with passive solar stepped housing, combined with the other urban functions, offices, businesses, leisures and services.
The pedestrian friendly diagonal grid of lively streets turns all the dwellings towards the sun, a renewable source of clean and free energy.
